Can A 6-month-Old Baby Really Learn How to Swim?
Emler Waterbabies swim classes start at six months through 35 months Your baby is then promoted to Aquatot status and capable of kicking 8-10 feet through the water! When a baby is correctly introduced to water, they love it by nature. For babies up to two months old, we have an introduction to bath class. How Emler Approaches Swim Lessons for Babies
Swimming classes for should be all about fun and games. What makes water attractive is witnessing how much fun others have while swimming. Emler knows that in order to make swimming fun, they must decrease any anxiety children are feeling. They sing songs, play games, and provide water toys to assist your little one in learning how to navigate aquatic surroundings.
The ideal way to learn how to swim is experiencing how happy water makes us feel. When this is coupled with hugs, warm smiles, and the love of a parent, it makes babies feel relaxed and happy.
What makes Emler baby swimming classes different is the parent is allowed to be in the water with their child. Thus, providing an atmosphere without stress or competitiveness. The primary focus is the child’s progress.
Teaching Your Baby a Lifetime of Water Safety
The best thing you can do for your child is teach them water confidence. Learning how to be safe around water is an imperative skill for survival. Even something as shallow as a mop bucket, toilet, or shallow bathtub holds the risk for drowning. At a very young age, Emler teaches children to not only love water, but to respect and be safe around it.
Which is the Right Class for Me?
Your child’s swimming curriculum is totally structured by Emler–starting at beginner to championship levels. Emler makes reaching a swimming milestone fun, so your child doesn’t feel any competitiveness. An example of the classes we offer include:
