This program takes 3-year-olds in small groups (no more than 4 per instructor) and teaches them to be submerged under water, how to control their breath, and how to kick forward through the water. Classes are engaging, using imaginative daily themes.
Toddler Swimming Classes in Allen
The Allen Aquatots program sparks your child's imagination through daily themes while teaching three-year-olds submersion, breath control, and destination kicking.
We keep our classes small, with a maximum of four students per teacher, ensuring personalized attention. Whether your child is new to the water or already has some experience, our program caters to their needs. At Emler, we can teach children with no swimming skills and help them become proficient swimmers at the Aquatots level. Each class is designed for a small group of same-aged children, fostering a safe environment for learning submersion techniques and propelling through the water with confident kicks.
The Emler Approach
Children have an innate desire to learn, grow, and have fun, and that’s exactly what Emler provides. Our classes are always positive and enjoyable, with instruction delivered through engaging themes and games. We prioritize a non-competitive atmosphere, celebrating each child’s accomplishments in the pool.
Our certified and highly specialized teachers guide your child through progressive steps that gradually increase excitement. From holding their breath longer to rolling over in the water, submerging underwater, and eventually moving independently through the water, children naturally develop skills while experiencing plenty of laughter and exuberance. Trust and support form the foundation of the strong teacher-student bond we cultivate.
With our award-winning curriculum and 48 years of experience teaching kids, Emler guarantees that your child will learn to swim and become proficient in the water.
Parents
Parents are always present during every class, whether comfortably seated in the observation room or on the deck, cheering their little ones on. Additionally, we take pride in meticulously designing and maintaining our Emler Facilities to ensure complete safety, cleanliness, and physical comfort for both swimmers and parents.
Finding the Right Class for Your Toddler
We understand the importance of placing young children in an environment that aligns with their swimming skills. This approach fosters confidence and allows them to thrive in an atmosphere of positive reinforcement. That’s why each of our age-specific programs consists of progressive levels, and we offer free evaluations to accurately assess your child’s proficiency and determine the appropriate teaching level among our 20+ options.
The Aquatots toddler swim program consists of four levels, ensuring your child is placed in the most suitable level based on their skills. For children aged three years and older, we provide a free 10-minute one-on-one Swim Skills Evaluation with our instructors. What Your Toddler Will Learn
Your toddler will learn water safety techniques that will last a lifetime. The lessons utilize songs and games, making them more fun.
The Waterbabies program has six levels that help place your toddler at the right level depending on their skills.
In early stages, parents join their child in the water. But as their skills progress, your toddler will be with a teacher while you watch from outside the pool.
As your toddler improves their skills, they will first gain confidence in the water and learn to submerge comfortably for 8-10 seconds.
As their skill set improves, your child will learn to kick through the water, first for up to 3 feet and, at higher skill levels, for up to 10 feet.
At our X-treme Waterbabies level, your toddler will learn rollover breathing, an essential water safety skill where they learn to roll into a back float to take a new breath.
Throughout the toddler swimming lessons, the distance will get longer, the classes more fun, and the smiles wider!
