Each class fosters a close-knit community of same-aged peers, providing a safe and supportive environment for mastering submersion techniques and confidently propelling through the water with purposeful kicks.
The Emler Approach
Children are natural learners who crave growth, fun, and exploration, and at Emler, we integrate these elements into our classes. Our approach is rooted in positivity and enjoyment, as we utilize engaging songs and interactive games for instruction. Emphasizing a non-competitive atmosphere, we celebrate every achievement your child makes in the pool.
Our highly qualified instructors guide your child through progressive milestones, promoting longer breath-holding, graceful rollovers in the water, confident submersion, and independent movement. Laughter and enthusiasm abound as children naturally develop their swimming skills, forging a strong bond of trust and support with their teachers.
With an esteemed reputation built on 48 years of experience and an award-winning curriculum, Emler guarantees that your child will not only learn to swim but also become proficient in the water.

What Your Toddler Will Learn
Your toddler will learn water safety techniques that will last a lifetime. The lessons utilize songs, toys, and games, making them more fun.
The Waterbabies program has six levels that help place your toddler at the right level depending on their skills.
In early stages, parents join their child in the water. But as their skills progress, your toddler will be with a teacher while you watch from outside the pool.
As your toddler improves their skills, they will first gain confidence in the water and learn to submerge comfortably for 8-10 seconds.
As their skill set improves, your child will learn to kick through the water, first for up to 3 feet and, at higher skill levels, for up to 10 feet.
At our X-treme Waterbabies level, your toddler will learn rollover breathing, an essential water safety skill where they learn to roll into a back float to take a new breath.
Throughout the toddler swimming lessons, the distance will get longer, the classes more fun, and the smiles wider!
