Aquatots San Antonio – Huebner

3 years

This program takes 3-year-olds in small groups (no more than 4 per instructor) and teaches them to be submerged under water, how to control their breath, and how to kick forward through the water. Classes are engaging, using imaginative daily themes.

Toddler Swimming Classes in San Antonio - Huebner

The Huebner Waterbabies swimming program uses daily songs and games to teach your child submersion, breath control, and kicking independently.

The program is for little ones up to age three with existing swimming skills and those new to the water.

The Waterbabies class has a limited number of students, at most four per instructor once the parent is no longer in the water. We like having a small group of same-aged kids per one instructor for extra attention when your child is learning how to extend their breath control and kick independently,

The Emler Approach

Kids love fun! Emler’s swim lessons are structured to be fun, allowing the young ones to learn and grow through water activities that will offer a sensory-rich experience. The lessons are upbeat and fun, as they’re done through daily songs, toys, and games. We ensure the classes are non-competitive to allow other students to celebrate every child’s achievement in the pool.

Emler’s teachers are certified and highly specialized. They unlock the joy and wonders of being in water in progressive steps to let your child naturally learn to hold their breath, roll over, and kick independently.

Emler’s classes are purely fun, with lots of love and laughter as we teach them essential safety skills that will last a lifetime. The instructors create a natural environment for the kids to learn in, ensuring support, trust, and safety, which results in a strong teacher-student bond. Emler guarantees your child will discover the joy of water and learn to swim, mastering the art to become a pro. We can back this up with 48 years of experience and an award-winning SwimScript curriculum.

Parents

To encourage and keep your child engaged, all parents are required to stay for class, watching and cheering for their little ones. The parent also adds a layer of safety, which is Emler’s priority. See Emler’s Guide to Your Child’s First Swim Lesson for tips and tricks to reduce anxiety and fear your little one might feel. Also, check out Emler Facilities, which are well-designed and maintained to offer safety and comfort for parents and their babies.

Find the Right Class for Your Toddler

It’s essential to match your child’s swimming skills with the right level of learning to ensure confidence and positive reinforcement. Emler’s classes are age specific and contain progressive levels to ensure your child is in the correct class. We also provide a free Waterbabies Orientation where you can come and experience the class and learn more about program firsthand.

The Waterbabies toddler swim program in Huebner has six levels for children under three.

What Your Toddler Will Learn

Your toddler will learn water safety techniques that will last a lifetime. The lessons utilize songs and games, making them more fun, and the safety skill Jump-Turn-Swim will be practiced in every level.

The Waterbabies program has six levels that help place your toddler at the right level depending on their skills.

In early stages, parents join their child in the water. But as their skills progress, your toddler will be with a teacher while you watch from outside the pool.

As your toddler improves their skills, they will first gain confidence in the water and learn to submerge comfortably for 8-10 seconds.

As their skill set improves, your child will learn to kick through the water, first for up to 3 feet and, at higher skill levels, for up to 10 feet.

At our X-treme Waterbabies level, your toddler will learn rollover breathing, an essential water safety skill where they learn to roll into a back float to take a new breath.

Throughout the toddler swimming lessons, the distance will get longer, the classes more fun, and the smiles wider!
