Aquatots Southlake

3 years

This program takes 3-year-olds in small groups (no more than 4 per instructor) and teaches them to be submerged under water, how to control their breath, and how to kick forward through the water. Classes are engaging, using imaginative daily themes.

Toddler Swimming Classes in Southlake

The Southlake Waterbabies program sparks your toddler's imagination through songs, toys, and games so they can learn water skills such as submersion, breath control, destination kicking and turning around to get back to the wall.

Whether new to the water or already having some experience. Emler can teach your young one to swim or enhance their existing skills to match the Waterbabies expertise.

Once the child is in a class without their parent, we keep our classes small; each teacher has a maximum of four kids or fewer to ensure personalized attention. Besides personalized attention, having a small group of same-aged children learn to submerge and kick through water improves their safety.

The Emler Approach

Kids love to learn through fun! At Emler, we center our lessons around learning and fun, which are crucial to your child’s growth. Our classes are upbeat and enjoyable. Instructors teach through songs and games.

We ensure the lessons are noncompetitive; each class celebrates the achievements of every child in the pool.

Our certified and highly specialized teachers use a progressive approach to introduce the fun of water to your child. Each step becomes more exciting as they learn water skills such as holding their breath longer, rolling over in the water, submerging, and moving independently through water.

Emler toddler swim classes in Southlake are full of laughter and cheerfulness as the young ones naturally develop water skills. Emler’s approach fosters a strong bond between the teacher and student, which helps build trust and allows total support.

With 48 years of experience and an award-winning SwimScript curriculum, Emler guarantees your little one will learn to swim and master the art of becoming an expert in the water.

Parents

Parents are always present during every class, either in the water or seated on the deck, supporting and cheering their little ones. Check out Emler’s Guide to Your Child’s First Swim Lesson to know what you can expect and for tips on how to make it a success. Also, look at Emler Facilities, which have meticulous designs and are well-maintained to ensure safety and total comfort for you and your kiddo.

Find the Right Class for Your Toddler

Finding a suitable class for your toddler ensures you match their swimming skills to the right environment, which is essential for their learning journey. As a result, they can gain confidence and grow in an environment full of positive reinforcement.

Emler understands this, so we offer age-specific programs with progressive levels. A Free Waterbabies Orientation is available at convenient times.

See the Emler Guide to Finding the Right Class for Your Child to help you make the best choice. The Waterbabies toddler swim program in Southlake has six levels to ensure your kid is matched to a level that fits their skills.

What Your Toddler Will Learn

Your toddler will learn water safety techniques that will last a lifetime. The lessons utilize songs and games, making them more fun.

The Waterbabies program has six levels that help place your toddler at the right level depending on their skills.

In early stages, parents join their child in the water. But as their skills progress, your toddler will be with a teacher while you watch from outside the pool.

As your toddler improves their skills, they will first gain confidence in the water and learn to submerge comfortably for 8-10 seconds.

As their skill set improves, your child will learn to kick through the water, first for up to 3 feet and, at higher skill levels, for up to 10 feet.

At our X-treme Waterbabies level, your toddler will learn rollover breathing, an essential water safety skill where they learn to roll into a back float to take a new breath.

Throughout the toddler swimming lessons, the distance will get longer, the classes more fun, and the smiles wider!
