Your First Day at Emler!
Signing your child up for their first swim lessons is an exciting time! Here is everything you need to know before your first swim lesson.
What do I need to bring to swim lessons?
All you need to bring to your first lesson is:
-
Swimsuit
-
Two pairs of washable, reusable swim pants or diapers if your child is age 3 or younger
-
Towel
-
T-shirt for the parent/guardian in the water
-
Goggles if your swimmer would prefer them
-
Bag for wet clothes and towels
-
Dry clothes for after the swim lesson
Will a parent need to get in the water?
Both our Bathtime Babies and Waterbabies classes are parent participation. For all other classes, parents will not be in the water.
What happens on our first day at Emler?
We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to your class time on the first day. This will give you time to check-in at the front desk, sign any forms, and for the staff to give you a quick tour.
Should we arrive dressed to get in the water?
We suggest coming to swim class dressed and ready to get in the water. Our locations are equipped with restrooms and changing rooms to use if needed.
We look forward to seeing you at the pool! If you have any further questions, please reach out to us at infosessions@emlerswimschool.com – thank you!
