Aquatots Portland – Beaverton

This program takes 3-year-olds in small groups (no more than 4 per instructor) and teaches them to be submerged under water, how to control their breath, and how to kick forward through the water. Classes are engaging, using imaginative daily themes.

Toddler Swimming Classes in Portland - Beaverton

Swimming is an excellent activity that offers mental, emotional, physical, and intellectual benefits.

It’s something that can provide a great deal of fun and family time for years to come.

At Emler Swim School, we believe that every child can learn to swim, and we are on a mission to make that happen in a safe and fun environment. We offer swim lessons to children of all ages, including our Waterbabies program for babies and toddlers. Learn more about our toddler swimming lessons and how you can get your child started below.

Your Little One Dives Into the Fun

Dive might be a strong word in this case, as safety is foundational at Emler Swim School. However, your child will, indeed, get to have some fun – so much fun that he or she will not even realize they’re learning!

Each of our levels is built around highly structured lessons, but that will be our secret. We employ songs, games, and toys for toddlers to enjoy while they learn to submerge safely in the water, control their breathing, and kick their little bodies through the water. Each student is accompanied by their caregiver, ensuring optimal safety and that each child gets the attention they deserve until they can move independently 5 feet through the water with a breath control of 8-10 seconds.

You Stay Involved Every Step of the Way

We believe that comfort and confidence are integral for little swimmers and that parents are vital to both. You are there for every splash, kick, and joyous smile.

We Build Confidence Along the Way

We celebrate every milestone with you and your child and they get to walk away feeling good about themselves after every swim lesson.

We are not fans of fostering fear or a competitive atmosphere. At Emler, we believe that children can learn to swim through love and encouragement, without the need to prove themselves or be better than their swim mates. We want little ones to develop a love of swimming and enjoy their time in the water.

Your Child Masters the Art and Science of Swimming

Our Beaverton Emler team works to build a proficiency in swimming in your child. Every lesson and level builds upon the last and builds up to the next. This progressive method allows toddlers to truly master swimming skills and water safety.
