Waterbabies teaches swimming in a warm and loving environment with effective techniques, not just playtime in the water.
This class is designed to introduce you and your baby to the joy of water and get a feel for what a typical Waterbabies class will be like. These orientations are offered primarily on Saturdays, with some days throughout the week as necessary. Call for availability or enroll online.

For babies who can already submerge comfortably for 8-10 seconds. Babies learn to be more independent in a fun environment, and to move three feet through the water. We employ a delicate balance at this level between allowing enough independence for babies to embrace swimming as transportation, but not allowing babies to struggle in the water, appearing to fight for survival.
Your instructor will help you feel secure in the water so your baby doesn’t feel fear and anxiety.

For babies who can already kick three feet through the water. Little ones learn to be more confident in a fun environment and are the veterans of the Waterbabies class. The results are increased confidence while they learn to jump in, kick independently through the water and exit the pool.
This is a very exciting level of swim lessons as babies learn to enter the water, kick a distance of five feet and exit the pool independently. Graduates from Advanced Waterbabies are known to draw a crowd when they swim in public. People cannot believe that a young baby can swim so well!
