Hayley began her career at Emler in 2015 as a Manager in Training at the Plano location. From there she moved to be the Assistant Customer Service Manager at Allen before transferring to the Sachse location. Hayley had been the Customer Service Manager at the Sachse location for a little over a year before becoming the Site Director. Before her time at Emler, Hayley spent time working in student ministry, child care and traveling overseas. She has always known that she wanted to work with children. Growing up in Florida, Hayley spent a lot of her free time with her family by a pool or at the beach. Getting to work at pool year-round is a dream come true! Hayley graduated from The University of Arkansas with a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with a concentration in Child Development. Go Hogs! She enjoys exploring the Dallas area and finding new places to eat along side her husband and pup.
I am so lucky because I work with such a great staff! I love getting to see so many smiling faces when I get to work each day. Everyone in our building cares so much for each other and every child that enters the door.
I want to create a community where everyone is safe and happy. From my previous experience as the Customer Service Manager, I have been able to develop many great relationships with families, find schedules that work well for families, and go above and beyond to make sure everyone leaves the building with a smile on their face.
Before moving to Texas, I grew up in Florida. I spent a lot of time around water, either at a pool or at the beach. One memory that stands out is when my girl scout troop worked toward a water safety patch. We learned how to swim with clothes on and save ourselves if we ever fell in any body of water on accident. The event lasted all day and left me exhausted!
I have so many great memories of children mastering a skill or overcoming a fear. One time, I had a student that did not like getting water in her ears and fought her backfloat every week. After weeks and weeks of practice, she finally did it on her own! I loved getting to celebrate with her and with her family!
Growing up my family moved around often. I went to ten schools before moving off to college! Each new move brought a lot of nerves about meeting new people, maintaining my grades and finding new activities. In middle school, I decided to join a drama summer camp at my new school, even though I had no desire to act. I ended up making such a great friend who sat with me at lunch on my first day of school. We still stay in touch today!
