Emler Swim School provides private swimming lessons for children of all ages.
Why Private Lessons?
At Emler Swim School, we believe in the benefit of group swimming lessons. Children learn by observing other children, and our small class ratios ensure individualized attention from the instructor. However, some parents may find that their child would benefit from private swim lessons, or want to use private swim lessons to supplement group swimming lessons.

Private Swim Lessons for Babies
Private swim lessons are offered for babies as young as 6 months old. It is ideal for the parent to join the baby and instructor in the water to help make the baby more comfortable, or the baby can work with the instructor while the parent observes from the poolside or from the observation room. Private swim lessons for babies help acclimate them to the water and teach beginner water safety skills.
Private Swim Lessons for Toddlers
Private swim lessons are offered for toddlers aged 1-3. It is ideal for the parent to join the toddler and instructor in the water to help make the child more comfortable, or the toddler can work with the instructor while the parent observes from the poolside or from the observation room. Private lessons are tailored based on your child’s past experience with swimming lessons and comfort level in the water. They can be a great choice for a toddler who wants to start with private swimming lessons to get acclimated before moving into group swimming lessons.
Private Swim Lessons for Kids
Private swim lessons for kids age 4+. Your child will work 1:1 with an instructor to build water safety skills and swimming skills such as kicking, breathing, and freestyle arms. Private swim lessons are good for beginners, all the way up to more advanced swimmers who want to master their technique for a competitive swim team.
