Soak Up the Fun at Emler’s Swim Station

It’s summer. Your kids are tired of being inside but it’s too hot to play outside, so they are probably fighting or driving you crazy every five minutes. What’s a parent to do? Consider making a reservation at one of Emler’s Swim Stations! If you don’t have a swimming pool in your backyard or a community pool to visit, you can always visit an Emler Swim School, even if you are not enrolled in lessons.

How It Works

Because Emler is a community-based business, they offer Swim Stations to help parents during the dog days of summer (or any day since each Emler Swim School is open year-round). You can book a 30-minute session to use an area in the pool up to one month in advance. Once you are at Emler, if you decide you aren’t quite ready to leave, you can extend your time by 15 or 30 minutes for a total of up to an hour of pool time with your kids.

If you want toys for your swimming session, you’re welcome to bring your own or you can rent them for a small fee. Emler staff are in the facility but you are responsible for supervising your children when in the water. A Swim Station ticket includes one parent and one child and your reserved lane to swim in.

The Benefits

The best part of the Swim Station is that it’s always available to you! You can make reservations for rainy days, hot summer days, or any day that you feel like getting your kids out of the house. It’s weatherproof because of our indoor facilities, which means you can protect your skin from the sun’s rays AND you don’t have to worry about bugs and mosquitoes!

Swim Stations are also good alternatives to your local rec centers that might be closed due to staffing or other issues. Oftentimes, rec centers have limited pool hours or are overrun with kids from daycares, afterschool programs, or the general public. Emler facilities are safe and secure, and offer an affordable, fun activity for your kids to practice their strokes and enjoy the comfortable, warm water without fighting for space to swim.

As always, Emler keeps safety in the forefront of everything they do. Coronavirus cannot spread in properly maintained pools, and Emler is on top of general maintenance at every location. They have top-of-the-line purification systems with UV lights that kill and inactivate viruses and bacteria, in addition to using proper chlorine levels.

Emler also has air filtration systems that bring in fresh air 8 times an hour so that it’s never stale and dank in the pool areas. Most facilities have saltwater pools that are small and comfortably shallow (with a maximum 4-foot depth) and are heated to a comfy 90 degrees year-round. The air temperature within the pool environment is always maintained attentively, so no one steps out of the water shivering.

Why Book A Swim Station?

Emler Swim Stations are perfect for getting in some swim practice before going on vacation or hitting the beach, which can be one layer of protection to prevent drowning if it’s been a while since your child had their formal lessons. Because a parent is required to be in the water with their child at all times, you can practice putting your faces in the water and blowing bubbles, help your child perfect their swimming technique or have a refresher on self-rescue techniques. You can also just splash around and have fun because it’s also a great way to bond as a family. And let’s not forget that swimming is one of the best exercises you and your family can do to stay healthy and happy.

Ready to make your reservations now? Grab your swimsuits, towels, and goggles and get ready to have some fun in the water at a local Emler Swim Station. Get your tickets here and soak up the fun!
