2- 5 months
Bathtime Babies is a class offered to parents of newborns, ages two to five months old. Parents are instructed on how to use their bath time at home with their babies for socialization, bonding, and introduction to the wonderful world of water.
Newborns are fresh from the aquatic environment in the womb. They don’t know they’re land animals. This is a perfect time to introduce your little one to the water.
We invite you and your baby to our Bathtime Babies® classes and learn more bathtime activities along with other newborn parents.
The half-hour class* once per week gives a you and your baby the unique opportunity to enjoy buoyancy in a non-threatening, warm environment. With the guidance of an experienced swim instructor, Bathtime Babies activities are designed to familiarize tiny students with the comfort and joy of water play.
Soon both you and your baby will look forward to this favorite activity of the week. The extra socialization and exercise of Bathtime Babies are excellent stimulation for a newborn’s health and development.
Each level of our Swim Script® curriculum is designed to prepare your child for success at their next level. The advanced comfort and coordination your baby will learn in Bathtime Babies® will put them at the head of their class when they move on to Waterbabies.
*Note: Each class is $5, there is a $35 annual registration fee and children under the age of three are required to wear two washable, reusable swim pants.
